Party cake slices are typically 1.5 inches wide. Keep in mind these are the industry standards and not the party cake slices typically served at your neighborhood birthday parties.
Surprisingly, the size of a cake serving for a wedding is smaller than a party cake serving! Cake slices cut for parties are normally 2 inches wide. While this is a small difference in size, it’s important to note that a slice of cake at a party is bigger as this will impact the number of servings you will need for your event.
